Note: Some keyboard-dependent features are only available on the desktop version.
Mouse: Click on any key to play it.
Keyboard: Use your computer keyboard to play notes!
White Keys: Numbers (1-0) and letters (q-m) play white piano keys
Black Keys: Hold Shift + letter or use symbols (!@$%^) to play black keys
Volume: Use + and - buttons or arrow up/down keys
Transpose: Change pitch with left/right arrow buttons or keys
Sustain: Toggle to hold notes longer, or hold Spacebar. Use the "Invert Sustain" button to reverse the behavior of the toggle and spacebar.
Velocity: Hold Backspace while playing for softer notes
1. Press Record to start recording your performance
2. Play some notes on the piano
3. Press Stop (or F1) to finish recording
4. Press Play (or F2) to preview your recording
5. Press Save to keep your recording
Click Files to see all your saved recordings.
Click any recording to play it back. Use the buttons next to each file to rename, delete, or copy a text transcript of the recording.
Click Sheets to open a text editor for writing music notes.
Click Auto to set up automated playback of QWERTY sheet music.
1. Paste your QWERTY sheet music in the editor
2. Set the note delay (milliseconds between notes)
3. Choose a keybind to start/stop auto play
4. Enable loop if you want continuous playback
5. Save settings or test play your sheet music
Sheet Format:
[a s d] - Play chord (multiple notes together)
| - Measure separator (adds small pause)
(rest 2) - Rest for specified beats
a b c - Single notes in sequence
Click ♪ to open the synthesizer with audio effects.
Configure reverb, equalizer, echo/delay, tremolo, chorus, flanger, and pitch shift effects.
All effects default to Off and can be adjusted independently.
Arrow Keys: Adjust volume (up/down) and transpose (left/right)
Spacebar: Hold for sustain
Backspace: Hold for velocity (softer playing)
F1: Stop recording
F2: Play recording
